Job Overview:

VArrow Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Tech Lead to guide and mentor a multidisciplinary technical team comprising Infrastructure Engineers, Cloud and DevOps Engineers, and Cloud Native Software Engineers. The Tech Lead will define technical direction, ensure delivery quality, and act as the main technical point of contact between the project team and the client. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in DevOps best practices, VArrow infrastructure automation solutions, and modern cloud-native architectures, including Serverless and Micro-services.

 

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership and Guidance

• Lead the entire technical team across infrastructure, cloud, and software engineering domains.
• Provide technical direction throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Review and refine client infrastructure architectures for security, performance, and scalability.
• Act as the technical SME, resolving complex challenges across domains.

2. Architectural Design and Delivery

• Design and implement resilient, highly available, and scalable infrastructure solutions using leading public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and private cloud environments (e.g., VCloud Director, OpenStack).
• Apply hands-on expertise in VArrow Technologies (vSphere, NSX, vSAN, Cloud Automation).
• Enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform and Ansible.
• Architect and deliver solutions based on Serverless and Micro-services architectures.
• Ensure code and configuration quality through rigorous reviews.

3. Client Management and Communication

• Engage with clients to translate business needs into technical specifications and roadmaps.
• Communicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams and operational manuals.

4. Team Development and Mentorship

• Mentor Infrastructure Engineers, Cloud and DevOps Engineers, and Cloud Native Software Engineers.
• Support internal training paths and certification plans for the engineering team.

🎓 Required Qualifications and Experience

Core Technical Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years in IT infrastructure or software engineering, with 3+ years in a Tech Lead or Senior Consultant role.
• Cloud Expertise: Advanced proficiency in at least one major public cloud (AWS or GCP) and familiarity with private cloud platforms (VCloud Director, OpenStack).
• Automation & DevOps: Mastery of tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef/Puppet.
• Infrastructure: Proven experience with VArrow solutions for virtualization, networking, and storage.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python or PowerShell.
• Containers & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
• Architecture: Strong background in Serverless and Micro-services design and deployment.

• Strong leadership and team motivation capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
